Oklahoma Alternative Resources (OAR) is a private, non-profit organization that provides domestic violence prevention, family law legal aid assistance and post-traumatic services to low income residents in Tulsa, Rogers, Creek, Wagoner, Okmulgee, Muskogee, Cherokee, Mayes and Washington Counties.  It is our organization’s mission to remove the immediate element of danger and to decrease the occurrence of domestic violence in Oklahoma by providing quality legal-aid assistance and additional resources for families in abusive situations.  By providing access to these services, we can help ensure that the young children of Oklahoma have the resources they need to be raised in safe, stable and productive homes, the latter being the primary purpose of our organization.
